Named Account Executive, State Government

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with State Government clients
- Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
- Provide regular progress updates to management regarding client accounts
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, including client retention and revenue growth
- Maintain high client satisfaction by exceeding expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams to devise solutions for complex challenges
- Address and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently
- Keep clients informed about relevant product features, updates, and enhancements
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand Salesforce services
- Formulate customized account strategies with clients
- Educate clients on how Salesforce products can streamline operations and enhance service delivery
- Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and competitive offerings
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Salesforce products and solutions
- Conduct regular client meetings and check-ins
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
- Experience focused on selling to State Government agencies
- Ability to work within a team of partners in a matrixed environment
- Strong execution focus and sense of urgency
- Business curiosity and technical ability to address customer data challenges
- Solution-selling mentality, including developing plans and solutions, articulating value, and navigating customer complexities
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Must live in territory
- Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer roles, and work experience
