About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise, design, and manage deployment orchestration solutions for complex Salesforce implementations
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, Solution Architects, Account Teams, and client stakeholders
  • Define requirements, deliverables, and expectations with clients
  • Assess existing DevOps processes, tools, and practices and recommend improvements
  • Design, present, and implement best-fit DevOps solutions
  • Drive selection and implementation of DevOps tools and technologies
  • Lead DevOps design sessions and document best practices
  • Develop and enforce DevOps frameworks and governance models
  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects
  • Ensure continuous delivery deployments across environments
  • Support pre-sales discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development
  • Collaborate with Salesforce product teams on client implementations
  • Use AI developer assistants such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate Salesforce Field Service, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, mobile applications, and integrations
  • Maintain platform security, performance, Salesforce best practices, and scalable customer solutions
  • Execute deployments when necessary
  • Travel to client sites as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of CRM experience, with at least 8 years on the Salesforce platform
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, Industries (Vlocity), and Data Cloud
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, version control, and deployment methodologies
  • Understanding of Git Flow, Trunk-based development, and Feature branching
  • Experience with Metadata API, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with sandbox management, source-driven development, change sets, and unlocked and managed packages
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Copado, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Azure Repos
  • Strong grasp of software configuration management using Chef and release management
  • Experience with Docker image building, orchestration, and pipelines
  • Experience with test automation tools including Provar, TOSCA, TestNG, Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit, JMeter, and ApexUnit
  • Experience managing code quality tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and PMD
  • Understanding of Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce certifications active or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Practical fluency using AI coding assistants and modern development ecosystems
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, estimated 50–75%
