About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design Piper’s AI brain interface for understanding leads, forming plans, explaining reasoning, and shaping personality, goals, and objection handling
Design Piper’s live chat and video presence, including micro-interactions, latency handling, turn-taking, and tone
Establish design patterns for autonomous agents in enterprise sales
Prototype in code or with AI tools
Ship design decisions rather than only documenting them
Work directly with engineering and machine learning teams
Define problems alongside solutions
Work directly with leadership and influence product direction
Own work from problem definition through shipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of product design experience
At least 2 years of experience on AI or conversational experiences
Understanding of LLM behavior, including latency, streaming, confidence, and failure modes
Fluency in AI tooling as a core part of the work
Strong visual and interaction craft
Comfortable defining problems without a detailed brief
Works directly with engineering and machine learning teams
Voice, video, or real-time communication design background (nice to have)
Familiarity with enterprise sales or CRM workflows (nice to have)
Experience designing multi-step autonomous workflows (nice to have)
