About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Hire and retain top engineering talent
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
Provide guidance and support for successful project delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements
Drive implementation and adoption of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies and continuous integration/delivery
Champion MuleSoft and Workday integration solutions for Workday Financials or Workday HCM
Streamline business processes and enhance efficiency
Oversee comprehensive test automation strategies for integrations and Workday Financials or Workday HCM
Ensure delivery of high-quality software products
Manage stakeholder expectations
Communicate project status updates effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in software engineering & operations
Proven track record of leadership and project delivery in Finance and HR Systems such as Workday, Peoplesoft, or Oracle EBS
Experience with end-to-end Hire to Retire cycle or Finance business processes
Strong understanding of engineering management principles, including team leadership, performance management, and talent development
Experience managing vendor partners and contractor-extended teams
Experience in Innovation, Engineering / Operational Excellence, and Test Automation
Experience with Workday Human Capital Management and/or Financial Transformation
Experience in HR domain or Finance domain business processes
Experience with multiple integration technologies, including MuleSoft and Workday integrations (Studio, Orchestrations, etc.)
Experience managing global teams across multiple time zones
A related technical degree required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
