About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Discover and analyze customer goals, mapping them to the Salesforce solution portfolio
  • Earn the technical win through compelling demos and presentations
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
  • Research and develop technical Points of View aligned with industry knowledge
  • Design innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Present customized, story-driven demos tied to business value
  • Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and account contacts
  • Feed customer requirements back to product and engineering teams
  • Participate in ongoing training and certifications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field
  • 7+ years of professional work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or software industry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile company environment
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Previous Salesforce Administrator experience preferred
  • Affinity for nonprofit and mission-driven organizations
  • Ability to lead discussions with organizational leaders and individual contributors
  • Ability to articulate technical value through discovery and demos
  • Strong team-based problem solving, leadership, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Effective time management and prioritization in a dynamic sales environment
  • Technical expertise in CRM, AI, Analytics, BI, Digital Marketing, or Community Engagement
  • Background in nonprofit management/operations and/or Salesforce technology desired
  • Ability to create and deliver customer-facing software demos
  • Salesforce Administrator (201) and Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certifications desired
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
