About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with a portfolio of customers to assess implementations and deliver recommendations on technical issues, feature adoption, and foundational solution design
- Provide reactive and proactive guidance on Salesforce product best practices
- Simplify complex technical concepts for technical teams, customer stakeholders, and managers
- Triage capability gaps and design inefficiencies, resolving common issues and escalating complex architectural challenges to senior Success Architects
- Execute playbooks from Support, Guides, and the Architect team
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive customer success, product improvement, and business growth
- Review and optimize Sales Cloud configurations, including opportunity/pipeline management, forecasting, email integration, Einstein Conversation Insights, Sales Engagement, and Sales Performance Management
- Troubleshoot data models, integrations, security models, and common anti-patterns
- Support Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5+ years of hands-on technical experience, such as Senior Support Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Senior Salesforce Admin
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce products, platform capabilities, technical governance, and best practices
- Experience participating in complex implementations and understanding integration principles
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application integration, including process orchestration, master data management, AI, analytics, and security best practices
- Ability to assess business objectives, propose solution options, and drive stakeholder alignment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in creating clear, visually compelling design documents
- Proven ability to manage customer-facing discussions and explain technical concepts clearly
- High proficiency in English
- Ability to identify design inefficiencies, recommend optimizations, and drive customer transformation
- Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging technologies
- Strong functional and configuration knowledge of Sales Cloud features
- Ability to configure and optimize Sales Cloud features
- Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting data models, relationships, validation rules, and data governance
- Experience with data import/export strategies, deduplication, ETL tools, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party connectors
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security configurations
- Ability to read, understand, and debug Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Familiarity with governor limits and efficient code execution
- Strong understanding of enterprise integrations using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with OAuth, Platform Events, External Objects, Salesforce Connect, and Event Relay
- Required Salesforce Admin certification
- Required Sales Cloud Consultant certification
