About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the full implementation lifecycle from scoping through deployment
Design and build Salesforce Industry-specific Communication Cloud solutions
Become a deep product expert in Retail Execution applications
Work closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure customer success
Lead functional and technical workshops
Demonstrate leadership in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions
Prepare user journeys and review user stories
Perform data modeling and apply Apex design patterns and modern UI techniques
Advise clients, Enterprise Architects, business partners, customers, partners, and implementation teams on Salesforce platform implementations
Shape architectural vision and establish program architectural roadmaps
Manage customer expectations and negotiate sophisticated solutions with customers and third-party partners
Establish trust with customer leadership and promote or implement standard processes with SFI and Salesforce
Build sophisticated business processes using Salesforce Industries technology, Force.com, and integration tools
Research, recommend, and implement AppExchange applications and Salesforce upgrades
Create custom enterprise applications using Salesforce.com and integrate Salesforce.com with other enterprise systems
Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions
Proactively identify and lead solution risk areas through completion

Requirements

What you’ll need

14+ years of experience developing technology solutions
3+ years of experience handling client-facing projects in positions of increasing responsibility in systems development and related business consulting
Expertise in one or multiple of Salesforce Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud; Vlocity Omnistudio; CG Cloud; Revenue Cloud; RCA; FMCG; retail; or trade promotion
Expertise in one or multiple domains including Trade Promotion Management & Optimisation, Account Planning, important metric Management, Retail Execution, Visit Planning/Execution, Salesforce Maps, or Sales Agreement
Integration Architecture experience, including conceptualizing end-to-end integration projects and knowledge of authentication mechanisms
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including knowledge of Governor limits during integration
Working knowledge of continuous integration and repositories such as Git
Strong experience designing and architecting large-scale applications
Detailed understanding of solution architecting and estimation processes
Experience with Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, and modern web and mobile technologies
Salesforce Certification preferred, including Admin, Developer, Sales and Service Clouds, or Application Architect
OmniStudio Developer/Consultant
