About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop application code using established methods that meets acceptance criteria
Review and collaborate with Architects on designs
Develop technical designs with necessary automation strategies
Work with the Product Owner to clarify story functionality and with SMEs for guidance
Develop stories, data mappings, test cases and success criteria
Build and deploy code through approved channels
Test with automated unit, integration, functional, acceptance, performance and smoke tests
Commit to iteration goals
Build highly scalable, performant B2C experiences on a large distributed systems platform serving tens of millions of users
Work on architecture, design, implementation and testing across products including Sales Cloud, Industries Clouds, IoT, Analytics and Heroku

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of professional software development experience
Extensive full-stack programming experience
Good understanding of the web application domain, backend systems and LLMs
Experience with scalable feature design and implementation
Knowledge of design patterns and industry best practices
Commitment to engineering best practices, including design, testing, documentation and code reviews
Good knowledge of Java or a similar language
Strong computer science, data structure and database fundamentals
Ability to analyze problems, design solutions, explain them to teammates and deliver on time with high quality
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams across geographies
