Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients
Provide architectural leadership across large and complex engagements
Partner with executive and delivery stakeholders to co-create and execute solution visions
Design and deliver scalable, mission-aligned solutions for Defense & National Security customers
Shape, scope, and align complex federal customer engagements across presales and delivery
Drive architectural strategy from initial solutioning through execution
Maintain architectural integrity and executive alignment
Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice
Contribute to the community knowledge base and expertise
Guide customers and colleagues in deploying emerging technologies that increase business value
Teach complex concepts and provide prescriptive thinking across client-organization levels
Identify and proactively manage risks through complete resolution
Manage customer expectations and negotiate complex solutions with customers and third-party partners
Review and correct project/program direction, approaches, and key artifacts
Drive program vision and articulate program/project strategies enabling Salesforce platform technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or consulting on the Salesforce Platform throughout the whole life cycle
Expert in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy
Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs
Experience documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc.
Strong presentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop audience-appropriate materials
Ability to connect with people in diverse roles
Resourceful and innovative problem-solving ability
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
Metro DC located
Active U.S. Government security clearance: Secret, TS, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Poly
Multiple Salesforce Core Architecture certifications
Experience in public sector digital transformation initiatives
Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (Agentforce Public Sector)
Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various organizational levels
Application design and development background
U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized) required
Must not hold dual citizenship
Must complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position
Must obtain and maintain the specific required U.S. Government security clearance
Travel may be required depending on client requirements
