Enable Slack feature engineers to solve complicated problems quickly through an agentic software development lifecycle
Pioneer intelligent tools and autonomous workflows for software development
Integrate AI agents into development pipelines through software factories and agentic automated testing
Build next-generation developer workflows and intelligent agents for iOS development
Lead, mentor, and grow iOS engineers
Set high standards for technical design and code quality
Own the team's area and contribute across Slack's entire iOS codebase
Debug Bazel cache misses and resolve broken CI pipelines
Monitor and improve CI stability, TimeToMerge, and build-time metrics
Proactively identify and resolve pipeline bottlenecks using intelligent automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience building and maintaining complex iOS tooling from CI to CD
Deep expertise with Swift, Bazel, Python, and Xcode tools
Hands-on experience with Agentic SDLC workflows, including AI coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot Workspace, or custom LLM scripts
Experience automating PR generation, code reviews, and boilerplate refactoring
Ability to monitor and improve KPIs such as CI stability, TimeToMerge, and build time metrics
Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and scripting such as Python/bash/etc.
A related technical degree required
