About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver Workday enhancements supporting the existing Workday implementation across functional and technical areas
Work with internal Workday teams, business users, and third-party integrators to understand business requirements
Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts
Configure, develop, and test Workday functionalities and integrations throughout the implementation lifecycle
Build effective, scalable, and maintainable test automation using tools such as Kainos
Participate in and contribute to code reviews
Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues through resolution
Create test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reports
Manually test Workday functionality and leverage automation tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Workday certification in one or more areas, including Workday Pro in functional modules (HCM Core, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time & Absence, or Recruiting)
In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration
4+ years of implementation experience in Workday HRMS and Workday Integrations
Working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, and BIRT
Knowledge of Workday Community and latest Workday release features and enhancements
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Experience leading full life cycle Workday implementations
Working knowledge of data modeling design and relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
Working knowledge of web services (SOAP and REST)
Experience defining test strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting for Workday or enterprise HR software applications
Ability to communicate status and risk effectively to the team and manager
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
A related technical degree required
