About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to large, complex Defense & National Security customers
- Participate in presales and implementation engagements
- Shape, scope, and solution engagements
- Provide technical oversight and execution leadership on large-scale, mission-critical engagements
- Mentor Salesforce teams and Federal clients
- Drive architectural excellence and strategic customer alignment
- Foster a high-performance team culture
- Serve as a trusted client advisor
- Lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice
- Contribute to the community knowledge base and expertise
- Guide customers and colleagues in deploying emerging technologies for increased business value
- Identify and manage risk areas through complete resolution
- Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions with customers and third-party partners
- Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts
- Work with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions
- Contribute to program vision and advise on project strategies involving enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience on the Salesforce Platform
- Strong application design skills
- Strong data, integration, and security architecture skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop audience-appropriate materials
- Ability to connect with people in diverse roles
- Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
- Resourceful and innovative problem-solving ability
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Active U.S. Government security clearance: Secret, TS, TS/SCI or TS/SCI with Poly preferred
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications preferred
- Experience in public sector digital transformation initiatives preferred
- Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (“Agentforce Public Sector”) preferred
- Application design and development background preferred
- U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized) required
- Must not hold dual citizenship
- Agreement to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position
- Qualification contingent upon acceptable background investigation results and obtaining and maintaining the required security clearance
- Travel may be required depending on client requirements
- Metro DC location preferred
