About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Review project deliverables and artifacts from a testing perspective and provide estimates and feedback
- Participate in test plan reviews with the team
- Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to identify test scenarios based on acceptance criteria
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Assist with user acceptance testing in alignment with project goals
- Identify, document, and analyze defects using defect management tools
- Recommend corrective actions and support developers in troubleshooting defects
- Ensure testing is completed on time and aligned with project goals
- Provide feedback on usability, performance, and overall quality
- Contribute to QA systems and process documentation
- Assist the manager/lead with QA process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance or software testing
- Good knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, defect and test management tools and processes
- Strong hands-on experience in test case design, execution, and reporting
- Knowledge and experience with retail industry standard IT applications such as ERP, Web, Customer Relationship Management, Mobile, OMS, and Retail Systems
- Proactive problem-solving, analytical, attention-to-detail, and follow-up skills
- Good verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in team-based waterfall and agile environments
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Ranorex, and Cypres (preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Github and Jenkins (preferred)
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI (preferred)
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad (preferred)
- ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.; the company does not provide visa sponsorship
