About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and execute a unified, consistent brand experience across all channels in the Miami region
- Collaborate with sales agencies, partners, ambassadors, retail teams, and internal marketing and sales stakeholders
- Support sell-through and drive consumer demand through events and multiple consumer touchpoints
- Own and execute the community calendar, consumer experience activations, community programming, and strategic partnerships
- Build brand affinity and community engagement through culturally relevant clubs, organizations, and events
- Support national and sponsored events in the territory
- Define and align the local SportStyle calendar across channels
- Drive and oversee special projects aligned with strategic objectives
- Monitor and communicate sneaker culture trends and broader cultural movements in Miami
- Oversee local ambassadors and develop community reach
- Execute in-store and online trainings on product and brand updates
- Deliver incentive toolboxes, presentations, and staff engagement programs for wholesale partners
- Execute marketing activations, in-store takeovers, sell-through contests, and point-of-purchase merchandising
- Conduct frequent store training for Salomon retail teams on product drops, campaigns, and brand strategy
- Support new store openings through community connection, operations, and localized marketing
- Monitor visual merchandising and teach product styling, display, and execution best practices
- Lead in-store events that drive communities to points of sale
- Align with the Performance team on category crossover opportunities
- Manage travel expenses and assigned local marketing budgets
- Use tracking tools for KPIs, including Replsy, Experience Platform, and Seasonal Playbooks
- Lead and help create ROI models for community ambassadors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years practical experience in the sneaker/fashion industry or adjacent is preferred
- Must be based in or within a 15 mile radius of Miami
- B.S. or B.A. in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Planning, organizing and preparation skills
- Presentation skills
- Strong self-awareness and ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and accountability in a remote position
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Budget management skills
- Passionate about sneaker culture
- Bilingual communication skills are preferred
- Must have the ability to work nights and weekends
- Must be able to drive and possess a state-issued driver's license and clean record
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodations
