About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the growth and success of Salomon’s Sportstyle business across the North American marketplace
  • Manage order books and monitor marketplace sell-through
  • Manage the sales calendar, including Sales Meetings, Pre-lines, QBRs, and T2Ts
  • Create and manage sales tools
  • Drive processes and best practices across the sales organization
  • Manage cross-functional relationships with Planning, Customer Service, and Sales Operations
  • Support Key Account Executives and align with sales agencies
  • Support the Director in implementing the strategic vision for Sportstyle within assigned national and specialty accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Customer Service teams
  • Execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue targets and KPIs including PGP, EBIT, and market share
  • Monitor account performance using POS and internal reporting; identify opportunities and risks and provide actionable insights
  • Partner with credit, supply, and customer service teams to manage order book flow
  • Manage category order books for assigned accounts
  • Lead seasonal wholesale forecasting with demand planning
  • Drive sell-in processes and standards for seasonal assortments
  • Negotiate and manage seasonal marketing investments with the trade marketing team
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Key Account Executives and the independent sales force
  • Coordinate agencies, performance evaluations, and market travel
  • Support seasonal and annual sales projections and sales program development
  • Create and implement streamlined weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual processes across the sales team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing a footwear business in the Lifestyle category in a Sales, Merchandising or Planning role
  • Comprehensive understanding of the North American lifestyle consumer
  • Well versed in the New York City and LA marketplaces
  • Demonstrated success in supporting strategic sales plans and achieving revenue targets
  • Strong ability to build internal and external relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • High business acumen with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for account meetings, market visits, and line showings
  • Positive, proactive leadership style with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to regularly travel, talk, hear, sit, stand, and walk
  • Ability to occasionally kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and lift up to 30 pounds, with or without accommodations
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
