About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Company's financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
  • Analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior-period performance and explain significant variances
  • Maintain assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts and supporting documentation
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and internal control enhancements
  • Support cash reconciliations, banking activities, prepaids, fixed assets, lease accounting, payroll accounting, and accounts payable reconciliations
  • Assist with external audits, tax compliance activities, and stakeholder requests
  • Participate in special projects and accounting initiatives
  • Identify process/control weaknesses and independently find resolutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in Medical Device
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience preparing account reconciliations and performing month-end close activities
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, including advanced Excel functions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Growth mindset, positive energy and the ability to work well with others
  • Big 4/Public accounting experience preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
