About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Start and monitor live captures of streaming-platform content
- Respond to alerts and fix player, VPN, or buffering problems using internal guidelines
- Capture on-demand and long-form recordings
- Edit video when necessary
- Run quality checks against established rules
- Ingest checked content into Samba's database
- Work with Samba web applications, remote machines, and spreadsheets
- Participate in a process consisting of a Talent call, conversation with Roberto, and final culture round
Requirements
What you’ll need- English you can work in every day; it is the one hard requirement
- Comfortable with computers, remote machines, spreadsheets, and learning new web tools quickly
- Real office or data-entry experience with repetitive, detail-heavy work
- Experience working remotely and staying on task independently
- Reliable availability on nights and weekends, with Saturday and Sunday as the priority
- Content management or media operations experience (bonus)
- High-volume data entry experience (bonus)
- Basic video editing skills (bonus)
- Troubleshooting streams, VPNs, or recording tools (bonus)
- Previous night-shift or follow-the-sun work (bonus)
- Must be comfortable working weekend nights and independently at approximately 4 a.m. on Sundays
