About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive ARR through platform decisions by identifying enterprise-readiness gaps limiting new business, expansion, and retention
  • Partner with Billing, Org & Auth, and Security product teams to define priorities, remove blockers, and track delivery commitments
  • Build and ship internal data and AI products for Product and Engineering teams
  • Analyze product telemetry, support tickets, customer conversations, feature requests, surveys, and product metadata
  • Convert analyses into reliable, repeatable tools and workflows with data definitions, quality checks, documentation, and feedback loops
  • Translate complex findings into decision-ready recommendations for R&D leadership
  • Quantify and report the revenue impact of platform investments
  • Own projects end to end from scoping and data connection through launch, adoption measurement, impact measurement, and iteration
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, validate outputs, debug failures, and apply sound judgment
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional experience in product operations, data or product analytics, business operations, consulting, technical product management, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated record of building and shipping useful products for real users, such as an internal tool, application, dashboard, automation, data product, or repeatable analytical workflow
  • Track record of connecting work to revenue or an equivalent business result, such as ARR, retention, expansion, or cost
  • Experience structuring and analyzing messy or large datasets, validating results, and explaining analytical limitations
  • Strong product and customer judgment
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical or analytical work to non-technical partners and executives
  • High ownership, curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Must be based in the United States or Canada
  • Relocation assistance will not be provided
  • Ideal: experience in a B2B technology company or closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Ideal: experience in Product Operations functions, including defining and tracking product roadmaps and feature requests and bringing the customer voice to product conversations
  • Ideal: familiarity with enterprise platform domains such as billing and monetization, identity, access and org management, security, or compliance
