About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support production for Samsara's annual customer conference, Beyond, global Go Beyond programs, and other hosted events
  • Coordinate end-to-end keynote and breakout planning and execution
  • Create run-of-show documents and production timelines
  • Plan AV requirements and schedule rehearsals
  • Manage executives and internal/external speakers
  • Source vehicles and equipment
  • Manage relationships with production vendors, internal stakeholders, and venue partners
  • Review venue contracts to ensure production needs are met
  • Assist with expo production coordination
  • Oversee multiple events and programs with overlapping schedules
  • Partner with marketing, product, sales engineering, and customer success teams to shape programming and engagement
  • Execute events onsite alongside the production vendor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in event management/production
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Open to traveling 30% of the time
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to navigate shifting priorities and consistently deliver against deadlines
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to build scalable processes, documentation, timelines, and operational frameworks
  • Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and budget-management skills
  • Ability to work across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
