About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full lifecycle of service contracts against agreed scope, timelines and KPIs
  • Coordinate contract mobilisation, implementation, reviews and close-out activities
  • Monitor contract performance, profitability and compliance
  • Identify risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead contract review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide reporting on performance, risks and commercial outcomes
  • Manage contract variations, rate adjustments and renewals
  • Develop business cases and obtain governance approvals
  • Support tender submissions, contract proposals and renewals
  • Maintain contract documentation, records and reporting for compliance and audits
  • Identify and resolve contract issues, escalating risks and driving corrective actions
  • Champion safe working practices aligned with Sandvik’s Environment, Health and Safety standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes, systems and best practices
  • Build relationships with customers and key stakeholders to support long-term contract outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong foundation in contract, project or service management gained through hands-on experience in the mobile mining and construction equipment maintenance sector
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen
  • Ability to balance customer, operational, and commercial priorities
  • Ability to interpret contractual obligations
  • Ability to analyse operational and financial performance
  • Ability to drive innovation across operations
  • Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and manage competing priorities in complex operational environments
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Essential skills in Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Business, or a related discipline are highly regarded
