About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Post accounting entries
- Perform fixed asset accounting routines
- Prepare account reconciliations and review balances and variances
- Support the monthly accounting close and preparation of management reports
- Audit physical inventories of fixed assets and stock
- Monitor stock and fixed asset balances and resolve discrepancies
- Support external audit activities
- Assist in preparing explanatory notes to the financial statements
- Ensure activities comply with internal controls
- Participate in and support continuous improvement and process automation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with an active CRC registration
- Practical accounting experience, focused on accounting entries and fixed asset control routines
- Experience with monthly closing routines
- Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to the role (CPC/IFRS)
- Experience supporting external audits
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Basic English proficiency
- Intermediate Power BI skills (preferred)
