About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and provide legal counsel within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Identify material legal risks relevant to the organization and the business
  • Ensure appropriate legal risk management for agreements and other legal documents and/or correspondence, including drafting, reviewing, and supporting negotiations
  • Ensure that Sandvik remains up to date and compliant with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, laws, and regulations
  • Manage external counsel and law firms
  • Manage and plan training on legal processes, templates, and tools
  • Ensure the implementation of relevant policies and procedures
  • Independently lead, manage, and coordinate a regional area, workstream, and more complex projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, with an active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) license
  • Advanced or fluent English
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in the field
  • Experience managing people
  • COVID-19 vaccination required, with presentation of a vaccination card containing the vaccine details or a digital vaccination record generated by Conecte SUS
