About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build reusable platform capabilities, templates, and automation that enable development teams to independently create and operate integrations
  • Influence developer experience across APIs, integrations, and event-driven solutions
  • Build and maintain a self-service integration builder using reusable platform components, templates, and shared services on Azure Integration Services
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation services, and utilities supporting platform delivery and operations
  • Embed security, logging, reliability, quality, and compliance controls into pipelines and templates
  • Translate architecture and technical standards into consistent, production-ready implementation patterns
  • Onboard and support development teams using the platform and improve capabilities based on feedback
  • Troubleshoot live integrations and own platform components in production
  • Collaborate with architects, product specialists, and development teams
  • Report to the Competence Manager as part of the PA Engineering Platforms Integration team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced engineer with a strong software development foundation
  • Exposure to platform engineering, DevOps and enterprise integration environments
  • Hands-on production experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), and Service Bus or Event Grid
  • Strong programming skills in C# or Python
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot Bash and/or PowerShell scripts
  • Experience with integration patterns, including APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, and API gateways or enterprise integration platforms
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or similar), and cloud-native environments
  • Experience with distributed systems and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Front-end technologies such as React or Angular, and relational and NoSQL databases, considered an advantage
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly, collaborate constructively, and take ownership
