About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and lead the existing-customer Account Executive team worldwide
  • Own hiring, onboarding, and career development for a high-performing global team
  • Drive expansion within strategic accounts through renewals, upsells, and customer partnerships
  • Win developer, product, and executive stakeholders within enterprise organizations
  • Track GRR and NRR as primary success metrics
  • Map customer organizations, identify pain points and use cases, and shape tailored solutions
  • Define account segmentation, customer lifecycle stages, and engagement strategies
  • Build and transfer pipeline-development expertise to the team
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Solutions, and Customer Solutions leaders
  • Feed customer insights into product roadmap priorities
  • Build playbooks, tools, and systems for forecasting, pipeline tracking, and expansion reporting
  • Track expansion metrics, usage trends, and upsell conversion
  • Own renewals, protect retention, and reduce churn

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years in enterprise sales or account management
  • 4+ years in management
  • 2+ years in second-line leadership managing managers who lead teams
  • Experience owning an expansion and renewal number at portfolio scale
  • Experience building systems and teams that consistently hit targets
  • Strong discipline building pipelines vertically and horizontally
  • History of growing enterprise revenue with sophisticated technical buying committees
  • Deep command of post-sale motions and enterprise expansion
  • Ability to define account segmentation, lifecycle stages, and reporting systems
  • Strong communication and organizational mapping skills
  • Proven cross-functional leadership across Solutions, Product, and Customer Solutions
  • Experience in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Technical fluency with modern software development workflows (bonus)
  • Experience in developer tools, headless CMS, composable platforms, or digital experience infrastructure (bonus)
  • Preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area (bonus)
