About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply design thinking and research methods across the full product lifecycle
  • Drive a unified user experience across products and platforms
  • Lead product design from research synthesis through ideation, prototyping, and implementation
  • Conduct discovery research including contextual inquiry, stakeholder interviews, and workflow analysis
  • Translate complex scientific workflows and tool ecosystems into intuitive experiences
  • Identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities across products, teams, and user journeys
  • Set priorities and advocate for design quality
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and team capacity planning
  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps and manage multiple workstreams to on-time delivery
  • Champion human-centered design across Consumer Experience, digital development, and partner organizations
  • Define user-centered measurement criteria and test and iterate experiences
  • Cultivate relationships with customers and end users through direct engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Design, HCI or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in product design
  • Portfolio demonstrating design process, research integration, and shipped products
  • Experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development process
  • Advanced product design skills and human-centered design methods
  • Experience designing holistic solutions for intricate product and UX ecosystems
  • Mastery of Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools
  • Expert knowledge of design systems and platform human interface guidelines across iOS, Android, LMS and connected platforms
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with sketching, concept creation, wireframing, information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, and rapid clickable prototypes
  • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present concepts and ideas to all levels of the company
  • Familiarity with user research, discovery research, usability testing, and synthesis
  • Familiarity with pharma/health technology is a plus
  • Must be a US or Puerto Rico resident
