About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set vision and strategic direction for the Field Reporting team in collaboration with the Director - Specialty Care
  • Encourage innovation and lead change management initiatives
  • Advise Sales and Marketing Therapeutic Area Leadership on field reporting decisions
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing Leadership to align field reporting with brand and sales strategy
  • Lead design, development, and operations of field reports for US Vaccines and General Medicines commercial customer-facing teams
  • Build strategies, processes, and tools using pharmaceutical data sources, BI, and AI platforms
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered analytics, automation, and self-service reporting
  • Collaborate with Digital/ITS, Commercial, Market Access, Trade, Value and Access, Compliance, and Field Learning and Development teams
  • Partner with global GTMC colleagues to share best practices and leverage hub teams
  • Manage and develop team members
  • Provide training and hands-on experience to strengthen team capabilities
  • Establish documentation and governance materials
  • Manage staffing, budget, prioritization, delivery, and vendor partnerships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Commercial Analytics, Reporting, or Sales Operations, or equivalent consulting
  • Proven experience partnering with or leading field teams
  • Track record of delivering high-quality solutions with strong attention to detail and measurable business value
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working in a regulated industry environment with strong compliance orientation
  • Vendor management experience
  • Proficiency with pharmaceutical data sources: IQVIA, LAAD, Xponent, Symphony, Komodo, CMS, Optum, Questlab, SP/PSS, DDD/867
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools: Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy
  • Experience with database tools: Snowflake, Oracle, Dbeaver, SQL Server
  • Experience with CRM platforms: Veeva, Salesforce
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with project management and portfolio management tools
  • Technical knowledge of AI applications and emerging capabilities in commercial operations
  • Proven executive-level presenter and communicator with exceptional storytelling skills
  • Highly organized agile learner with strong real-time thinking, prioritization, and financial acumen
  • Strategic partnership and influencing skills
  • Deep understanding of field operations including CRM systems, incentive compensation, sales analytics, and field learning and development
  • Ability to leverage AI tools and automation platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline required
  • Experience managing teams within matrix organizations preferred
  • Background in multicultural environments and global or cross-regional project leadership preferred
  • Experience managing offshore or hub team partnerships preferred
  • US and Puerto Rico residency eligibility; North America applicants only
