About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead US-focused HEOR activities for AYVAKIT® in Systemic Mastocytosis and emerging pipeline assets
  • Design and execute economic modeling, database analysis, observational research, RWE studies, systematic literature reviews, evidence synthesis, and AMCP dossier development
  • Set US evidence-generation priorities and incorporate them into Sanofi planning documents such as the IEGP
  • Drive payer engagement, value positioning, and US access strategies
  • Address evidence requirements across managed care, specialty pharmacy, and rare-disease payer dynamics
  • Develop compliant US evidence dissemination pathways, including payer dossiers, field materials, and publications
  • Design research programs meeting US reimbursement-authority and third-party-payer evidentiary standards
  • Recommend clinical and real-world evidence programs supporting payer differentiation and value demonstration
  • Contribute to brand planning, lifecycle management, and launch readiness
  • Represent US HEVA perspectives within the global HEVA team and translate global evidence packages into US-specific value narratives
  • Engage with ICER review processes and the US policy landscape
  • Partner with US Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Policy teams on evidence use, payer engagement, training, value frameworks, PDAB and ICER responses, and value-based contracting strategies
  • Mentor junior colleagues on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in health economics, epidemiology, public health, economics, or a related field; or Master's degree in a related field plus minimum 4–5+ years of relevant HEOR/outcomes research experience
  • Completion of a relevant fellowship or minimum of 2+ years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, or a related field
  • Foundational knowledge in health economic modeling, real-world evidence generation, evidence synthesis, and outcomes research methodologies
  • Understanding of global health technology assessment processes and payer decision-making frameworks
  • Foundational knowledge of AI and digital tools relevant to health economics, including familiarity with data analytics platforms and digital research tools
  • Willingness to rapidly develop proficiency with new digital and AI-enabled solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Good project management skills with ability to manage timelines and deliverables while staying on budget
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, team orientation, and ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • US and Puerto Rico residency eligibility
