About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic input for the global brand plan and develop an aligned medical affairs plan
- Co-develop brand strategic imperatives for Dupixent in atopic dermatitis
- Develop and implement advocacy plans with experts, academics, payers, providers, professionals, and patient associations
- Ensure patient-centric medical strategy for product, device, and service development
- Serve as scientific expert for the cross-functional franchise
- Lead global and guide country strategy in atopic dermatitis
- Organize advisory boards and congress roundtables
- Ensure scientific and ethical integrity of sponsored research, information, and stakeholder relationships
- Implement digital engagement strategies including virtual advisory boards and webinars
- Support post-marketing evidence generation through observational studies, registries, and real-world evidence initiatives
- Design the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan
- Lead post-approval studies with scientific and quality oversight
- Develop and implement publication plans
- Foster collaborations with academic and research organizations
- Leverage clinical insights, competitive intelligence, and real-world evidence for decision-making
- Collaborate with clinical development, commercial, regulatory, and field medical teams
- Manage the strategic alliance with Regeneron
- Participate in Product Teams and provide medical expertise
- Develop coordinated lifecycle management and global launch plans for Dupixent
- Oversee the atopic dermatitis medical budget
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of medical directors
- Implement development programs, feedback sessions, and skill-enhancement opportunities
- Foster an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative team culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced degree in life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD)
- 8+ years of relevant medical affairs experience
- Experience preferably in dermatology
- Proven track record in scientific research, publication planning, and medical communications
- Experience in immunodermatology or inflammatory skin diseases highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of scientific research, clinical development, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate complex interventional and observational clinical studies
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience developing medical strategies, gathering insights, and creating scientific content
- Ability to engage and build long-term relationships with external thought leaders, professional societies, healthcare stakeholders, medical authorities, and patient advocacy groups
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and networking skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop direct reports
- Ability to navigate and resolve interpersonal conflicts
- Ability to assess team capacity and allocate resources effectively
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong planning, prioritization, implementation, organizational, and self-directed working skills
