About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interact with Account Management representatives, internal functional teams, wholesalers, distributors, and external customers to provide contract information
- Ensure customers receive accurate contract pricing while maintaining compliance
- Create and implement contract agreements and amendments in systems
- Implement changes involving new or discontinued products and other contract updates
- Assure accurate pricing, appropriate approvals, signatures, membership eligibility, and wholesaler/distributor notification
- Resolve problems arising throughout the contract lifecycle
- Set up and maintain contract vendors
- Support wholesaler/distributor inquiries about contract setup, pricing, and eligibility
- Resolve contract problems and customer inquiries through timely written replies or direct discussions
- Create and suggest operational process efficiencies
- Process contracts for countersignature
- Support implementation of new systems
- Own and manage ongoing contract lifecycle processes and priorities
- Assist with cross-training and onboarding new team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Master’s level education preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Contracting, Pricing, Operations, or another critical thinking discipline
- Pharmaceutical/vaccine Managed Markets experience preferred
- 3+ years of analytical and business experience focused on reviewing and executing contracts
- In-depth working knowledge of SAP and Model N Flex (Revenue Manager System)
- Ability to develop, lead, and negotiate contract terms and implementation
- Ability to work independently and move forward at a fast pace with limited information
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
- Proficiency applying policies to real case situations
- Ability to network with other areas to resolve problems and gain approvals
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication, problem-solving, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills
- Very high level of attention to detail and accuracy
