About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evolve and execute the DICT approach across the Americas region using data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled capabilities
- Partner with Global DICT leadership to establish a multi-year innovation roadmap
- Create operational strategies using digital tools for automated reporting, real-time enrollment tracking, and actionable insights
- Manage regional budget and resources, prioritizing technology investments
- Develop and execute sustainable external community partnerships embedded in clinical trial diversity strategies
- Implement standardized data collection to increase diverse population participation
- Serve as the primary DICT lead and KPI contact for the region
- Monitor regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and evolving diversity standards
- Equip project teams with self-service tools and resources to monitor diversity KPIs and drive accountability
- Engage external consortiums and policymakers
- Build strategic partnerships with clinical sites, patient advocates, and technology providers
- Build site capacity and capability across priority markets
- Provide training, resources, and infrastructure support to improve diverse patient recruitment and retention
- Participate in Sanofi governance bodies with data-informed perspectives and technology-enabled solutions
- Collaborate with R&D, Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs, Clinical Sciences Operations, and Vaccines
- Integrate the Americas DICT strategy with the global approach, aligned data standards, and digital workflows
- Leverage AI-powered tools and digital solutions, including dashboards, predictive modeling, and demographic analytics
- Pilot and evaluate AI/ML tools for site feasibility and patient identification
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies through external health tech partners and academic institutions
- Build data using digital and AI tools within the Americas DICT team
Requirements
What you’ll need- MS degree
- Minimum 5 years clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical industry or complex matrix organizations
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Experience with local regulatory landscape, including FDA, Health Canada, and national competent authorities
- Knowledge of industry consortiums, including TransCelerate
- Demonstrated success in external stakeholder engagement, including industry associations, regulatory bodies, or policy advocacy
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial operations, patient enrollment initiatives, and cross-functional team leadership
- Proven success leading without authority in global matrix environments and navigating ambiguity across functions and cultures
- Strong project management, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities
- Demonstrated data literacy with enrollment data, KPI dashboards, and performance metrics
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in clinical research
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Ability to travel 20%
- Preferred: PharmD/PhD/MD or equivalent
