About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead high-profile Payments analysis and delivery across complex, cross-functional change initiatives.
- Drive clarity and structure in ambiguous business requests and shape clear scope and outcomes.
- Elicit and define business, functional and non-functional requirements and plans.
- Translate complex work requests into clearly defined scope and plans.
- Partner with Technology teams and external suppliers on solution design and delivery.
- Influence senior stakeholders through insight, challenge and clear recommendations.
- Manage project governance and change control to protect quality and value.
- Provide transparent reporting and insight on progress, risks and readiness.
- Lead requirements gathering and delivery across the full project lifecycle.
- Identify impacts, dependencies and risks across the change landscape and ensure compliant, resilient solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and champion clarity, quality and customer-focused outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience of working within a Payments environment (Required)
- Experience of E2E project analysis, delivery and implementation (Required)
- Experience of industry standard traditional Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies (Required)
- Experience of developing processes and procedures in regard to governance and change management principles (Required)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, comfortable challenging constructively and influencing stakeholders across all divisions of Santander (Required)
- Proven diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills (Required)
- Ability to build rapport with project stakeholders and demonstrate influencing skills (Required)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; effective use of available communication channels across the bank (Required)
- Experience of working in agile, including awareness of agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence (Required)
- Payments expertise across FPS, International, CHAPS and Bacs
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment with risk, controls and governance requirements
- Willingness to attend the chosen office location at least 12 days per month
