About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage the Financial Crime Training Curriculum
- Keep learning solutions aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements and emerging financial crime risks
- Support the design, delivery and continuous improvement of financial crime learning solutions across audiences and business areas
- Manage end-to-end learner requests
- Ensure role-based learning pathways reflect current capability requirements and future skills needs
- Analyse training effectiveness using KPIs, evaluation data and completion metrics
- Make recommendations and enhancements based on training analysis
- Develop and deliver management information and reporting to Financial Crime governance forums
- Highlight risks, issues and improvement opportunities
- Provide check and challenge to ensure training content aligns with policies, standards, risk appetite and internal ways of working
- Support the development of an anti-financial crime culture across Santander UK
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working within a financial crime, risk and control, or compliance environment within financial services
- Demonstrable expertise in financial crime typologies, emerging threats, risk indicators and relevant regulatory requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and build relationships across all organisational levels
- Organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple priorities, workstreams and competing deadlines
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving
- Experience managing governance, reporting, risk management and continuous improvement activities
- Knowledge of financial crime risk frameworks, controls and compliance obligations
- Ability to identify, assess and mitigate financial crime risks across business operations
- Proactive, action-oriented, adaptable and resilient approach in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Recognised Financial Crime Qualification (Preferred)
- Candidates should consider travel distance, time and cost to the chosen office location
