About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end pipeline for the Central Controls Office Gen AI roadmap, from gathering use cases through delivery into BAU
- Own the framework and pipeline for gathering, measuring and scoping submitted use case ideas
- Lead discovery and feasibility assessments to define business problems, evaluate Gen AI suitability and determine delivery routes across Copilot and Maisa
- Work with SMEs to define problem statements, target outcomes, requirements, success measures and acceptance criteria
- Define and agree baseline measures, expected benefits, costs and success criteria for each use case
- Track realised value following implementation
- Use discovery and pilot evidence to recommend scaling, refining, pausing or stopping use cases
- Coordinate iterative design, prompt or worker development, functional testing, user-acceptance testing and remediation
- Ensure outputs are accurate, reliable and suitable for business use
- Ensure human-in-the-loop reviews, test evidence, exception handling and exit criteria are agreed before implementation
- Coordinate governance requirements and maintain a clear evidence trail
- Manage delivery dependencies and capacity across business SMEs, AI specialists and external delivery resources
- Escalate constraints and agree recovery actions
- Develop and deliver adoption and capability plans to help CCO colleagues use approved Gen AI tools confidently, effectively and responsibly
- Use user feedback, usage insight and skills assessments to inform adoption and capability plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience of delivering technology, data, or AI-enabled change from discovery and requirements through testing, implementation, adoption and BAU handover. (Required)
- Experience of working within multidisciplinary teams comprising business SMEs, technical specialists, risk and governance stakeholders. (Required)
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with the ability to navigate ambiguity. (Required)
- Great planning, prioritisation and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to managing delivery, resolving issues and balancing competing priorities. (Required)
- Focused mindset with the judgement to stop or redirect work where the evidence does not support further effort. (Required)
- Great influencing and facilitation skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and negotiate priorities (Required)
- Great written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce concise updates and clear delivery documentation. (Required)
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate delivery status, risks, decisions and benefits clearly through PowerPoint (Required)
- Practical experience of using ChatGPT and/or Microsoft Copilot for business activities, including prompt design, evaluation of outputs and iterative refinement. (Required)
- Experience of defining measurable outcomes, building business cases or benefit hypotheses and tracking value realisation. (Preferred)
- Experience of working in an Agile environment, managing backlogs, prioritisation, dependencies and releases. (Preferred)
- Experience of managing a pipeline of competing initiatives and applying transparent prioritisation criteria. (Preferred)
- Experience of driving adoption and embedding new tools, processes or ways of working. (Preferred)
- Prince2, APMP or equivalent formal project management qualification (Preferred)
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including data protection, human oversight, output validation, access management and model monitoring. (Preferred)
- Experience of backlog and workflow-management tools such as Jira (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of Maisa platform including digital-worker design and testing (Preferred)
