About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Central Controls Office in managing Santander’s policy relating to dormant customers and related processes and controls
- Develop working knowledge of the Dormancy Policy and related processes
- Execute controls to test the ongoing efficacy of dormancy-related processes
- Identify gaps or issues that may cause customer harm
- Identify opportunities to improve dormancy-related processes and controls
- Report risks, issues and control outputs to senior stakeholders
- Help customers achieve the best outcomes in relation to managing dormant accounts
- Ensure the dormancy journey remains compliant and controlled
Requirements
What you’ll need- Sound understanding of Retail & Business Banking, and inherent risk types within the Division (Required)
- Effective planning and prioritisation skills
- Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail
- Great foundation in risk and control concepts
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across the business
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to persuade and influence others to achieve deliverables
- Experience working in an operations or operational risk role at Santander or elsewhere (Preferred)
- Experience managing and reconciling customer data (Preferred)
- Must attend the office at least 12 days per month
