About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the strategic growth and transformation of Santander’s global Cash Management business
Define and execute strategic growth initiatives and identify new revenue opportunities
Expand Cash Management capabilities across Santander’s global footprint
Develop go-to-market strategies for multinational corporations and large corporate clients
Uncover wallet opportunities and support Sales and Coverage teams in complex client engagements, RFP/RFI, and unsolicited proposals
Partner with Product Management to shape product strategy, prioritize investments, optimize pricing, and drive innovation
Build executive-level dashboards and strategic insights for senior leadership
Track commercial performance, client adoption, and key business metrics
Analyze industry trends and competitive dynamics across payments, liquidity management, virtual accounts, APIs, ISO 20022, instant payments, and digital treasury
Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Finance
Collaborate with global stakeholders across Banking & Corporate Finance, Global Transaction Banking, Product, and Origination teams
Maintain the strategic roadmap through market intelligence, competitive analysis, and client research
Train and enable Sales, Coverage, and cross-functional teams on cash management and payments solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education — Required
6+ years of cash management product development and/or cash management sales/business development at a financial services institution — Required
6+ years of Financial Services industry experience — Required
Subject matter expertise in cash management products, including payments, receivables, and liquidity management, and compliance regulations
Strong analytical and financial acumen
Ability to manage product performance and profitability
Demonstrated ability to manage product lifecycle, including strategy execution and delivery
Ability to develop pricing strategies and identify revenue-generating opportunities
Strong understanding of product governance, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements
Ability to create and maintain product policies and procedures
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment
Ability to develop business cases and strategic product initiatives
Effective communication skills with ability to present to senior management
CTP or similar treasury certification is a plus
