About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, develop, and manage accounts within an assigned territory
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas
- Articulate the value of Tri-anim’s innovative technologies to reduce total cost of care and improve patient outcomes
- Develop proposals and conduct sales presentations for prospective and existing customers
- Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, and price schedules
- Identify and qualify prospects through telephone calls, cold-call premise visits, and networking
- Demonstrate proficiency on all aspects of Tri-anim’s website
- Maintain working relationships with Prime Manufacturers through co-travel and telephone or email conversations
- Provide in-service educational seminars for hospital clinical staff
- Sell to appropriate hospital areas according to a set call schedule
- Participate in and pass sales skills or product knowledge tests within designated timeframes
- Represent Tri-anim at trade shows, conferences, and association meetings
- Interface with customers and manufacturers at meetings to identify sales opportunities
- Coordinate efforts between Brand Managers and Product Specialists for projects within the designated territory
- Handle customer needs and ensure territory revenue and gross profit growth goals are met
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of clinical background in acute facilities (anesthesia, respiratory, critical care) for clinical backgrounds
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hospital sales experience for medical sales backgrounds
- Experience preferably in Anesthesia, Respiratory Therapy, and Critical Care
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas while representing products and therapies from multiple vendors
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Leadership, educator, or clinical training experience preferred
- Impeccable interpersonal skills appropriate to audience and selling situation
- Disciplined and detailed approach to account management including use of CRM tools
- Strong negotiation skills with a record of favorable outcomes
- Sound judgment and analytical skills with ability to analyze complex issues and develop alternative solutions
- Competitive drive and strong sense of urgency to drive profitable growth
- Customer-focused with ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
- Ability to prepare clear, concise business proposals
