About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, review, and process EMS patient care reports (PCRs) for assigned clients
  • Research, gather, and verify insurance information using internal systems, online tools, and external payer resources
  • Validate demographic data, including patient name, date of birth, mailing address, and other required identifiers
  • Confirm insurance eligibility and correct payer sequencing
  • Identify discrepancies or missing data and resolve them before claims are submitted for coding
  • Document findings, updates, and corrections in appropriate systems
  • Collaborate with Coding, QA, Client Services, and other billing departments
  • Maintain productivity targets and turnaround times for assigned client volumes
  • Support overflow work, data cleanup, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
