About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all sales results of mid-size and large accounts within the Texas territory
- Develop strong customer relationships aligned with organizational strategy
- Promote products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with market and growth strategy
- Use SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities
- Analyze SFDC data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance
- Drive newly launched products and services into the marketplace and follow up on implementation of sales activity
- Assess customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest appropriate products and services
- Develop account plans and coordinate resources in line with account plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve market perception and win business
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in the assigned territory
- Assess customer potential and convert it into business
- Manage and build strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years field sales experience, preferably with laboratory / process-based experience in Life Science
- Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
