About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor staff performance and quality and address training or performance issues; perform colleague chair-sides as needed
- Ensure all cash received daily is posted and reconciled to the bank deposit
- Collaborate with leadership and the training team to build training plans
- Manage day-to-day workload inventory
- Provide assistance and resolution to internal business partner inquiries
- Conduct routine quality audits of accounts, including Unposted, Unidentified Cash, and Flags
- Establish realistic goals and priorities aligned with organizational objectives
- Act as a technical expert on cash posting requirements, locating EOBs/checks, and navigating payment-document websites
- Participate in new-client startup calls and provide staffing and training
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Analyze and solve problems quickly and thoroughly
- Conduct daily huddles and weekly staff meetings for process improvement and staff project knowledge
- Approve timecards, colleague PTO, and payroll
- Support Savista's Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in healthcare cash posting, working within healthcare systems
- Experience in Healthcare or with a health care service-related business
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
- Ability to facilitate and influence decisions by motivating others to achieve excellence in both the quality of work and their approach to teamwork
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to navigate Microsoft Office programs
