About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation within advisory operations
Improve process efficiency, data quality, and operational effectiveness
Manage daily new account billing setup
Partner with the team lead on the monthly billing process
Ensure billing accuracy and timeliness
Ensure data integrity and effective management of internal reporting systems
Oversee and maintain relationships with custodians including Schwab, Fidelity, and Interactive Brokers
Drive administrative functions and onboard new custodians as needed
Act as project manager for special initiatives, including advisor transitions and system unlocks
Drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency
Implement best practices across advisory operations
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Compliance to ensure operational excellence across systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in Advisory Operations within a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm
Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
Ability to leverage AI and automation in daily processes and projects
Hands-on experience with Orion, AdvicePay, Schwab, Fidelity (IWS and NFS), Goldman Sachs, and Interactive Brokers
Ability to manage and optimize wealth management platforms and custodian systems
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with Product and Advisory teams
Experience managing and executing billing processes
Ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability
Enthusiasm for the fintech space and wealth management technology
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to work a 4-day-per-week in-office schedule in Manhattan
Based in New York or willing to relocate to New York
