About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run the monthly advisor payout cycle end to end for individual advisors and advisor teams
  • Build payouts from contract terms from gross to net, including fees for additional services or products
  • Reconcile every payout and investigate discrepancies before funds move
  • Administer the advisor loan program, including balances, repayment schedules, and payout offsets
  • Build and run equity distribution processes for advisors
  • Manage corporate card budgets and advisor expense oversight
  • Triage advisor payroll escalations and drive them to resolution
  • Own advisor platform-fee invoicing and collections
  • Track deposits from third-party insurance and annuity partners and map them to advisors
  • Document inherited and newly created processes and convert judgment calls into repeatable procedures
  • Identify and close control gaps before they cause advisor-facing errors
  • Partner with Data and Engineering to move work from spreadsheets into systems
  • Report to the Head of Finance and collaborate with advisory operations, trading, billing, post-sales, and advisors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in operations, payroll, commissions, revenue operations, or business operations, personally owning a recurring monthly process involving money
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, including lookups, nested logic, and pivot tables
  • Exceptional attention to detail and low tolerance for unexplained variances
  • Comfort gathering information across an organization
  • Strong written communication
  • Working fluency with AI tools and judgment about their appropriate use
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech is nice to have
  • Experience with individually negotiated commissions or incentive compensation is nice to have
  • Experience with Stripe, corporate card platforms, or payroll systems is nice to have
  • Experience being the first person in a role and building processes is nice to have
  • Must be able to work Savvy's 4-day-per-week in-office policy in Manhattan
  • Must be based in New York or willing to relocate to New York
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or address sponsorship requirements
