About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage construction and colocation processes to deliver quality sites within customer specifications, required timeframes, and budgets
- Plan, schedule, prioritize, and organize materials, equipment, manpower, deliveries, and subcontractors across multiple projects
- Supervise field employees and subcontractors
- Act as the on-site client representative and communicate requirements to internal teams
- Inspect job sites daily and implement corrective action for deficiencies
- Enforce SBA and OSHA safety practices, conduct daily safety inspections, and lead weekly job site safety meetings
- Inspect subcontractor work and ensure quality, design compliance, and schedule adherence
- Interface with client representatives to resolve issues and coordinate customer-provided equipment deliveries
- Maintain communication with internal and external field personnel
- Confirm employee hours and work descriptions; report resource and equipment needs
- Provide daily status reports and bid-walk documentation
- Coordinate deliveries with vendors and Territory Management
- Participate in pre-construction walks and verify site layout, setbacks, tower orientation, anchor distances, and marked underground utilities
- Report vehicle accidents and workplace injuries
- Develop and build the subcontractor base
- Verify building permits, NTPs, and lease approvals before construction
- Recruit, select, onboard, coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Delegate responsibilities, provide performance feedback, and lead goal and development planning
- Promote productivity, quality, engagement, and alignment with organizational values
Requirements
What you’ll need- H.S. Diploma/GED in related field of study
- 1+ years of construction or equipment installation experience
- Wireless telecommunications experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Domestic travel
- Valid Government Issued Driver's License
- Must be able to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- OSHA 10Hr Safety Course preferred
- CDL preferred
- First Aid Certification (Adult) preferred
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred
- Ability to perform the listed physical demands, including occasionally lifting 70 lbs
- Safety-sensitive applicants receiving a conditional offer must satisfactorily pass a drug test
