About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the on-site operation, management, and regulatory compliance of SBA sites within the assigned geographic area
  • Ensure structural integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance for assigned assets
  • Perform and record site safety and compliance inspections in accordance with FAA/FCC and safety regulations
  • Identify, document, correct, and report site safety and compliance issues; suspend unsafe work or shut down sites when warranted
  • Resolve safety, regulatory, and operational issues and escalate unresolved matters with recommendations
  • Complete Tenant Installation Notices in Mobile Manager within 24–48 hours of confirmed install dates
  • Perform routine site audits and complete site summaries within 24 hours of lease execution
  • Manage trouble tickets, select and dispatch contractors, and act as operational acceptance point of contact for new equipment installations
  • Manage repair, maintenance, inspection, security, alarm monitoring, and lighting systems for tower assets
  • Respond to emergencies and repair tower damage caused by natural disasters, weather, falls, or other causes
  • Update CADD drawings as needed
  • Manage the Notice to Proceed process, including tracking tower modification schedules, approving start dates, and issuing NTPs
  • Perform A&E and pre- and post-construction walks for new leases and amendments
  • Represent SBA in relationships with Ground Owners, handling complaints, arbitrating disputes, resolving grievances, and responding to inquiries
  • Collect and track site information such as fiber, generators, lighting systems, and monitoring systems
  • Manage M&A trackers and transition acquired sites to SBA control
  • Maintain the company vehicle according to DOT and Fleet department standards
  • Perform Colocation RSM responsibilities as needed, including co-location approvals, site walks, inspections, drops and swaps, and tower enhancements
  • Manage structural engineering, tower and foundation processes, project schedules, reports, tenant/application timelines, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Manage Structural PORs and coordinate structural modifications with engineering firms and vendors
  • Prepare and order purchase order requests for engineering letters, structural analyses, modification drawings, geotechnical reports, foundation investigations, and tower mappings
  • Review construction drawings, building permits, certificates of insurance, and scopes of work for NTP issuance
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • 3-5 years of field operations experience
  • Domestic Travel
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License
  • Ability to perform the listed physical demands and work in specified conditions, including occasional lifting of 50 lbs, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet conditions, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and vibration
  • Applicants receiving a conditional job offer for a safety-sensitive position must take and satisfactorily pass a drug test
