About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage collaboration with external IT service providers in the areas of IT sourcing and provider management
  • Oversee strategic and operational provider management as the central point of contact
  • Further develop the provider strategy, and select and evaluate service providers
  • Support negotiations concerning contracts and service agreements
  • Monitor SLAs and KPIs and ensure compliance with agreed targets
  • Manage quality and performance, coordinate escalations, and conduct reviews, benchmarking, and audits
  • Plan budgets while taking costs, risks, and compliance into account
  • Optimize spending and comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Act as an intermediary between internal stakeholders and external providers
  • Enable the integration of new providers and technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Several years of experience in IT provider management
  • Proven expertise in SLAs, KPIs, sourcing, and contract management
  • University degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or equivalent qualifications
  • Certifications such as ITIL or SAFe are an advantage
  • SAP knowledge is desirable
  • Very good German skills, at least C1 level
  • Good English skills, at least B2 level
