About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-level leadership on the firm's most complex client projects
  • Deploy firm best practices to solve clients' growth challenges
  • Drive new consulting business from new and existing clients
  • Establish expertise in pricing and revenue growth and act as a trusted advisor to client executives
  • Deliver multiple concurrent complex client engagements on time, on budget, and to specification
  • Provide executive-level direction to day-to-day leads
  • Co-lead sales campaigns to win new-logo clients and expand existing accounts
  • Create business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Lead impactful client engagements that drive value and outcomes
  • Attract, develop, and retain consulting talent
  • Manage and coach Engagement Managers and Consultants
  • Enhance and evolve the Pricing team’s intellectual property and product portfolio
  • Architect, scope, staff, and operationally manage profitable client engagements
  • Track and drive delivered margin on engagements
  • Complete firm-related tasks, assessments, surveys, expenses, and other assigned responsibilities accurately and on time
  • Work with a Partner on business development efforts; report to a Managing Director
  • Work on-site at client locations and from a home office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in Management Consulting
  • At least 3 years managing people
  • Deep practical experience with Pricing Strategy
  • Experience with a management consulting firm
  • Experience working within Private Equity firms or large enterprise clients
  • Functional experience in Pricing, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, or Marketing
  • Experience in the C-Suite or with VP-level executives, especially CEOs, CPOs, and CMOs
  • Experience communicating complex ideas effectively to executive audiences
  • Executive-level written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional projects
  • Solid functional knowledge within SBI’s Ideal Customer Profile, including strategy, business development, pricing, product development, project management, marketing, and sales
  • MBA
  • Ability to travel at least 50%–60% of the time
