Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support business development and growth of GMP Regulated Services business units and Critical Environments
  • Provide support to multiple projects concurrently, emphasizing GMP compliance and process excellence
  • Manage and coordinate services and projects
  • Provide technical mentoring to department personnel
  • Lead GMP Regulated service initiatives with functional area leaders
  • Provide data for budgets and assure compliance
  • Complete performance appraisals for direct reports and review staff appraisals
  • Create, develop, update, revise, and maintain documentation, policies, programs, procedures, and files
  • Evaluate, select, and implement business solutions
  • Develop processes, services, and tools to improve business deliverables and process efficiency
  • Establish and maintain required business documents
  • Provide updates on assigned topics to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with or lead new service introductions and account transitions
  • Interact with functional representatives during solution selection and implementation
  • Communicate business-solution information to functional departments
  • Assure efficient flow design in manufacturing using state-of-the-art technology where applicable
  • Provide support and training to service personnel and customers
  • Implement special projects or assignments
  • Travel and coordinate staff travel for inter-facility meetings, service or technology transfer, improvement teams, and Critical Environment trainings
  • Travel up to 50% to support operational initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge and ability to apply GMP compliance and process excellence practices
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools
  • Ability to manage and coordinate services and projects
  • Ability to provide technical mentoring
  • Ability to support budgets and manage multiple cost centers
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation, policies, programs, procedures, and files
  • Ability to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Ability to evaluate, select, and implement business solutions
  • Ability to develop processes, services, and tools to improve efficiency
  • Ability to provide support and training to service personnel and customers
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
