About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas
Perform janitorial duties and all duties listed on the daily schedule
Operate motorized cleaning equipment
Maintain daily upkeep and clean work area
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
Comply with safety rules, policies, procedures, protocols, and company rules
Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
Perform repetitive tasks
Take direction and respond to supervision
Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
Fill in during staff shortages
Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
Use proper personal protective equipment
Present a professional appearance and conduct
Understand customer service and satisfaction
Understand reporting systems and the environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

No specific education requirement
3–6 months training or experience preferred
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely
Valid driver's license may be required based on business needs
Employees required to drive must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements
Completed all safety and task training certification
May be required to be forklift certified
Bilingual is a plus
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, compounds, and chemicals and their safe, efficient use
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary
