About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct company programs and implement company policy to ensure compliance with contract duties
  • Plan and develop work schedules and assign service personnel to routes
  • Inspect establishments for safety, quality, service, and program compliance
  • Conduct quality audits and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment
  • Investigate and promote improved equipment and methods
  • Review and address customer service requests
  • Implement organizational policies and goals
  • Analyze budget requests and identify potential reductions
  • Promote services to develop new markets and increase market share
  • Inspect plants and evaluate use of space and facilities
  • Assist with plans, budgets, schedules, cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts
  • Develop long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements
  • Coordinate program specifications, proposals, contracts, and related documents
  • Compile data for estimates
  • Maintain and report financial business information, including labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, and forecasting
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with FLSA, OSHA, ADA, and other regulations
  • Direct supervisory management supporting facilities programs
  • Act as liaison between the company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
  • Maintain contract and contractor status databases
  • Communicate with customers, clients, and employees through meetings
  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues
  • Travel as required
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, reward, and discipline employees and resolve workplace problems
  • Oversee multiple programs including Pest Control and events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 2–5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Ability to respond to customer, regulatory agency, and business community inquiries or complaints
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, employees, and the public
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Bilingual a plus
