About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct company programs and implement company policy to ensure compliance with contract duties between the company and customer
  • Plan and develop work schedules and prepare service personnel schedules and routes
  • Inspect and evaluate establishments for safety, quality, service, and program compliance
  • Conduct quality audits and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment
  • Investigate and promote improved equipment and methods
  • Review and address customer service requests
  • Implement organizational policies and goals
  • Analyze and facilitate budget requests and identify cost reductions
  • Promote services to develop new markets and increase market share
  • Inspect plants and evaluate use of space and facilities
  • Assist with plans, budgets, schedules, cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts
  • Ensure site meets budget goals on a sustaining basis
  • Assist with long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements
  • Coordinate program specifications, proposals, contracts, and associated documents
  • Compile data for estimates
  • Maintain and report on labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting, and related changes
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with FLSA, OSHA, ADA, and other regulations
  • Direct supervisory management supporting facilities programs
  • Liaise between the company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
  • Maintain contract and contractor status databases
  • Review contractor correspondence and respond appropriately
  • Establish and maintain contractor contacts to support the contract process
  • Conduct and attend meetings with customers, clients, and employees
  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues
  • Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work; manage time, performance evaluations, rewards, discipline, complaints, and problem resolution
  • Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 2–5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, presentation, interviewing, coaching and training skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and the public
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Some travel is required
