About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of and manage a dedicated client portfolio
- Oversee bookkeeping in an increasingly automated environment
- Perform accounting review procedures
- Prepare tax returns and filings, including VAT, CFE, CVAE, DAS2, and others
- Carry out year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial statements and tax packages
- Contribute to financial reporting assignments
- Work on consolidation and financial analysis matters
- Support and advise clients in managing their business activities
- Act as a trusted financial advisor and key point of contact for the main client
- Supervise, support, and help develop more junior team members
- Ensure quality and compliance with deadlines across a large volume of files
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education in accounting, ideally a DSCG or Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Auditing (CCA), or a DCG supplemented by significant professional experience, or equivalent training
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in an accounting firm
- Ability to manage a client portfolio with a high degree of autonomy, including preparing financial statements and tax packages
- Excellent attention to detail and personal organization
- Strong autonomy
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage a large volume of files
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and strong presence when interacting with clients
- Ability to advise and support financial and operational stakeholders
- Interest in mentoring and supporting junior professionals
- DSCG qualification highly valued
